The age groups targeted, from a technical development perspective, are 11 to 18 year old Boys. The program is geared towards identifying, training and developing athletes who can go on to represent their Regions, their Province and Canada at Age Grade Level and beyond.

The BCEY7s program will be entering teams into the following 2014 competitions: Las Vegas Sevens (January 22-26), Hong Kong Sevens (March 28-30) and Victoria International Youth Sevens (July 11-12).
