About The Program
Designed for athletes aged 15 to 18, the BC Rugby Game Ready: Strength and Conditioning Program seeks to provide exposure and education around strength and speed training principles for those looking to enter an organized training program.
Delivered in partnership with local high-performance training facilities, this program will ensure education around basic speed, power and strength exercises that make up the foundation of more complex routines, including those used by National team strength and conditioning staff.
Using a curriculum that emphasizes optimal posture and mechanics, sound running technique and adequate progression, athletes can expect to build knowledge and strength that will help prevent injury and improve their on-field performance. Small group sizes and expert supervision will ensure that all sessions are delivered in a constructive and safe environment.
