Canada shocks France to advance to first-ever World Cup Final

PARIS, FRANCE - Canada's Women's Team secured a place in the Rugby World Cup Final after they beat host nation France 18-16 in an outstanding performance at Stade Jean Bouin. Second-half tries from full-back Elissa Alarie and wing Magali Harvey - along with eight points from the boot of the latter - stunned the French side on Wednesday.

BC senior women show well at National Women’s League Finals

OTTAWA, Ont. - British Columbia’s senior women’s provincial team wrapped up their 2014 NWL Finals campaign on Sunday afternoon with a 27-10 loss to eventual champions Ontario. The loss saw BC finish in third place behind Ontario (4-0) and 2013 champions Quebec (3-1).
