VANCOUVER, BC - A full slate of rugby provincial finals wrapped up on Saturday at Klahanie Park with Vancouver Rowing Club edging Abbotsford RFC 31-27 in a championship thriller for the men's Okanagan Spring Brewery League One title. Abbotsford downed the Surrey Beavers for the Okanagan League Two title while both Third Division Tier A and B finals went to Capilano RFC.

WILLIAMS LAKE, BC - BC Rugby will be offering an Identification Camp for female athletes in William's Lake at William's Lake Secondary School on Sunday May 11th from 10:00am to 1:30pm.  Any athlete interested in representing BC at the U18 and U16 Levels should attend.  The birth years for U18 Women are 1995 and 1996 and for U16 Women are 1997 and 1998. High School and Club Athletes from all areas of the Okanagan are encouraged to attend.

VICTORIA, BC - For the third straight year Burnaby Lake Rugby Club (5-1) and defending Gordon Harris Memorial Cup champions Velox Valkyries (5-1) will square off in the Women's Adidas Premiership provincial final.

The University of Victoria will play host to three important rugby match ups this weekend including the finals for the women's Adidas Premiership (Gordon Harris Memorial Cup), the men's first division (Ceili's Cup) and the CDI Premier League (Rounsefell Cup).

VANCOUVER, BC - BC Rugby will be running a talent U18 women's ID Camp for all athletes interested in participating in the Provincial Program in 2013.  The camp is for all players born in 1995 and 1996.

The North Vancouver Island Rugby Union (NVIRU) Tsunami Academy is holding open selection camps for the U-15 Tsunami team that will compete in the Provincial District Championships (PRCs) at UBC in Vancouver, June 22nd - 23rd. All athletes born in 1998 and 1999 living in North Vancouver Island (north of the Malahat) are encouraged to try-out for this representative team.

The Tsunami Rugby Academy is holding selection camps for the U-16 Girls Tsunami team that will compete in the Provincial Regional Championships (PRCs) at UBC in Vancouver, June 22nd - 23rd. All athletes born in 1997 and 1998 living in on Vancouver Island are encouraged to try-out for this representative team.

The Vancouver Island Rugby Union, South Island, Junior Tide, Representative Rugby Program seeks qualified individuals for the position of Head Coach for U18, U16 men’s XV rugby and U16/U14 Sevens teams.
