.Establish stronger communication lines with all BCRU stakeholders, especially VRU and FVRU clubs.
.Increase collaboration with coaches at all levels of club rugby.
.Recruit and develop Level 1 Certified referees for Junior-level club games and high-school matches. As games are typically on weekdays or Sundays, this allows current players to gain experience and earn some cash. It also helps reduce the workload on society members who ref Senior-level matches on Saturdays.
.Continue to provide support, guidance, and referee coaching to all society referees, especially newcomers (whether they are at high-school, junior, or senior level).

For referees interested, Sherry Trumbull has organized a sprint training session before the meeting. I can guarantee it will be a good session and will not be as strenuous as you might think; time is spent on technique and form, not straight sprints! I'll get details from her once she is back from the Women's Rugby World Cup in Paris!!
