TSN to broadcast IRB Women’s Rugby World Cup

TORONTO (July 28, 2014) – TSN hits the pitch with live coverage of Rugby Canada's national senior women’s team as they compete in the IRB WOMEN’S RUGBY WORLD CUP at the Centre National du Rugby in Marcoussis, France. TSN’s exclusive coverage runs August 1-17 and includes every Canada matchup, plus the semifinals and final (see below for complete broadcast schedule).
 
Broadcast Schedule:
    Canada vs. Spain – Friday, Aug. 1 at 8:45 a.m. ET on TSN
    Canada vs. Samoa – Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 10:45 a.m. ET on TSN
    Canada vs. England – Saturday, Aug. 9 at 9:30 a.m. ET on TSN2
    Semifinal #1 – Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 11:45 a.m. ET on TSN
    Semifinal #2 – Wednesday, Aug. 13 at 2:30 p.m. ET on TSN
    Finals – Sunday, Aug. 17 at 12:30 p.m. ET on TSN2

This marks the first time that TSN has broadcast the IRB WOMEN’S RUGBY WORLD CUP.
 
Fans can follow Canada’s women’s rugby team at the IRB WOMEN’S RUGBY WORLD CUP live on TSN.

TSN delivers coverage of all three games from Canada’s women’s rugby team, kicking off with Canada vs. Spain this Friday (Aug. 1) at 8:45 a.m. ET. In their second matchup, Canada takes on Samoa on Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 10:45 a.m. ET on TSN and then faces off against 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cup runner-up England in their final Pool Round game on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 9:30 a.m. ET on TSN2.
