Manthers takes Okanagan Rugby Union title

The Okanagan Rugby Union club season wrapped up this past weekend with Salmon Arm and Enderby-based club side Manthers taking the 2013 division title. With a 31-20 win over the top ranked Penticton Harlequins, Manthers will now advance to the Saratoga Cup Final (provincial championship for independent men's club sides) to be played this Fall.

Manthers and Pencticton each had 5-2 records heading into the playoffs. In the semifinals Penticton downed Vernon 20-27 while Manthers edged Merritt 31-19.
