VANCOUVER, BC - Current U19 Canadian Rugby Championship title holders British Columbia will be holding their final open camp on Sunday, June 16th at UBC's Wolfson Fields.
The session is set for 11:30am-3:30pm and will be the final weekend for players to put their hands up for selection for this year's roster headed to Calgary.
Returning Head Coach Kris de Scossa has been running training sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays at UBC from 7:00pm-8:30pm with a skills and conditioning focus.
"We became National Champions last year because of hard work with a culture of teamwork and commitment, players in the Lower Mainland region should be considering attending these sessions," said de Scossa. "Those players who are in the Interior or on the Island should also be working on conditioning and core skills; the ones identified by the senior national program, which were worked on during our last camp."
NOTE: Team staff will be looking to invite all players who do not make the final squad list after the final open camp to continue attending training sessions for the opportunity to develop and receive further coaching.
