PRCs: Updates to Tsunami rep teams training details

All male athletes living in North Vancouver Island and all female athletes living anywhere on Vancouver Island are encouraged to try-out for these representative teams. The initial selection camp for each age group is listed below.

U15 Boys (Born in 1998* & 1999)

Date: July 5th – 7th

Attendance Policy: there is an expectation that athletes wishing to earn a spot on this representative side must show up to all training sessions. Exceptions can be made for extenuating circumstances but these instances should be communicated with your representative’s team’s head coach or manager.

Availability: all athletes should be immediately check and reserve the PRC dates in their calendars.  Players wishing to earn a spot on teams that are involved in different PRC tournaments need to double check both weekends are available and inform their respective coaches for each age group.

Practices: athletes should bring appropriate rugby wear to all practices (e.g. cleats, on field attire, and mouth guards) along with a water bottle and a snack for lunch; sunscreen would also be advised if temperatures continue to rise.

Registration Forms: athletes are required to fill in a Tsunami Academy Player Profile form on the Tsunami Academy website. The link to the form is provided under each age group team.
