BC provincial sevens teams advance to Cup Quarterfinals at Vegas Invitational

LAS VEGAS - Day one of the Las Vegas Invitational Sevens wrapped up for the BC Elite Youth Sevens program with the BC-4s going 3-0 and and the BC-3s posting a 2-1 record. Both teams now advance to the Cup Quarterfinals with the BC-4s claiming the top seed. BC-4s are set to play ICEF at 9:20am and the BC-3s will play the Herriman Mustangs (Utah) at 10:00am.
BC's U18 women's team posted three straight victories and narrowly missed out on a perfect 4-0 record on Thursday, falling 15-10 to Inner Cities E.F (of Los Angeles) in the day's final match. BC wrapped up their pool games but their opponents each have one more match on Friday morning to determine final seedings for the playoff rounds.
The High School Elite division will kick off on Friday morning with the BC-2s facing off against the Dog River Howlers at 8:20am and the BC-1s playing Ontario at 8:40am. --
