Fellow B.C. Rugby Clubs.
Semiahmoo Old Boys R.F.C. are going to Cuba to assist the Cuban Rugby Federation in obtaining International Rugby Board (IRB) accreditation so that they can compete for a place in the Rugby Sevens in the 2016 Olympics in Rio Janeiro. Our tour will assist them in achieving this by training/coaching not just the players but also the coach’s referees and officials and also by playing against them plus bringing much needed equipment/kit and building relationships with them, as they will be in our region of the IRB world classification the North American and Caribbean, when they are accredited.
We will be assisting at all levels of the sport especially their youth development and schools program and will also looking to take out much needed school supplies as well. There are many ways in which B.C. Rugby Clubs and individuals can help support us in this. By donating any rugby /school equipment/kit, new or second-hand, by making a financial donation towards purchasing rugby /school equipment/kit, by sponsorship of tour kit i.e. playing jerseys etc. or by taking out an advertisement in the tour program. All monies raised being used to purchase more equipment, kit, and supplies, please direct all enquires and any questions to me as follows.
