Referee course set for October 19th in Surrey

SURREY - The BC Rugby Referees' Society will be holding a Level One Officiating Course on October 19th at Clayton Heights Secondary in Surrey as part of the province wide professional development day.

Note: The registration fee includes course manuals, Law Books, and a Rugby Canada registration fee.

Course participants are asked to dress appropriately for outdoor conditions and are required to bring their own whistles.

The course is open to anyone able to attend, not just teachers participating in the Pro-D day.

Prerequisites for those looking to take the course include an IRB Law Test (www.irblaws.com/EN/) and a Rugby Ready Test (www.irbrugbyready.com/). Course participants are required to bring both completion certificates to the October 6th session, or email copies to Dave Pue (dpue1@shaw.ca)
