Below are the results from the CanLight Fiji 7s Tournament dated August 4th 2012.
There were three top teams competing in this year's tournament and they were Burnaby Lake Lighthouse, South Seas Connections and Bayside Rugby.The Burnaby Lake Lighthouse continued their winning style as winners of the first ever CanLight Fiji 7s defeating the South Seas Connection by 28-12 in the Final.
BC champions Burnaby escaped a close win in there first game to South Seas Connection 26-21.

Game 3 South Seas 29 - Bayside 26
Game 4 (Final) Burnaby Lighthouse 28 - South Seas 12
Apart from rugby, there were some other extra activities held and the list included the Kicking Contest and Fitness Contest.
Kicking Contest :25 meters kick was won by Ryan of Burnaby Lighthouse
:30 meters kick was won by Iliesa of Bayside Rugby
Prize: 2 Brand new LionHeart Rugby Ball proudly donated from The LionHeart Rugby Wear
Fitness Contest was won by Vilitati Galivia of Burnaby Lighthouse
Prize: $30.00 proudly donated from The Global Fijian Assemblies Church
As for the Tournament Prize, there was $500.00 which was proudly donated from the United Fijian Methodist Church, which The Burnaby Lake Lighthouse Team walked away with.
I personally would like to thank BC Rugby and Rugby Canada for giving us the opportunity to run this Tournament. Also the Burnaby Lake Rugby Club for their support in allowing us to use the field for this Tournament.
