The 33rd annual Williams Lake Rustlers Touranment is set to go this weekend.

The favourites on the men's side have to be the Young Bucks and Capilano. The Young Bucks have won the tournament three years running but will be pressed this year as the rugby should be a very high caliber. There are no weak teams.

The Wiliiams Lake team will be tough to beat this year too. Brendon Pritchard, Nathan Stewart, and Riley Ilnicki are coming back from stellar seasons on Vancouver Island.

On the women's side the defending champions are the Williams Lake Hustlers who have won the tournament two years in a row. They have a brilliant group  of athletes and are led by Kayla Moleschi (Canadian National Team), Claire Lawrence, and last years MVP Jasmyn Niquidet. The old boys division looks to be a very tight up but Williams Lake will have the most depth and that could be an important factor. The rugby starts at 9 am and will be done by 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Festivities include a Licensed Beer Garden, Concession, and a Dinner Saturday night. Theme night on the deck Friday night this year’s theme will be cowboys/girls and Indians.  There will be prizes for best dressed.
