BURNABY: Rugby Canada in partnership with BC Rugby is pleased to announce that it will be running a unique opportunity for club and high school rugby coaches who are interested in developing their background in the assessment and development of core rugby skills.
Mick Byrne (2011 World Cup Skills Coach for the New Zealand All Blacks), supported by Dustin Hopkins from Rugby Canada and Pat Fleck and Dave Brown from BC Rugby will deliver a session on skills analysis and skill development. Coaches attending the workshop will develop and master skill assessments in the following key areas:
- Passing Assessment
- Tackle Assessment
- Contact and Breakdown Assessment

The cost for the event will be $20 per participant and there is limited space for 35 coaches to attend. All interested coaches should send an email to Lauren Nutt at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 250-418-8998 (ext. by Thursday June 21st 2012 with the title Skills Development Coach Workshop.
The email should also include the coach’s full name, contact number and the program they are currently coaching. Lauren Nutt will confirm your placement on receipt of your information.
Cash and Cheques will be accepted on the day and cheques should be made payable to Rugby Canada. The available spots on this development workshop will be filled on a first come first serve basis so coaches are encouraged to register early.
