Coaching session with New Zealand's Mick Byrne scheduled for May 31

To all coaches

Rugby Canada is inviting local rugby coaches from all levels of the game to attend an open coaching session at the Rugby Canada Centre of Excellence as the Under 20 menís program prepare for the IRB Junior World Trophy.

Head Coach Mike Shelley and his staff will be running the session with assistance from Mick Byrne who has been contracted to work with the U20 program during this preparation phase. Mick Byrne (2011 World Cup Skills Coach for the New Zealand All Blacks) will be available throughout the session for Q & A with the audience as the team is put through their paces. Mick will share some of his personal coaching philosophies and also provide some insight into the on field U20 session.

The session will be focused around the Contact Area / Breakdown and will be an opposed session.

There is no fee for the session and coaches are invited to attend the following:
