VANCOUVER - BC Rugby is pleased to announce that the 2012 Provincial Regional Championships (PRCs) will take place at UBC from July 6th to July 8th.
In 2011 the PRCs attracted almost 500 male and female athletes from across the province to compete in the U16 Men’s (9 regions), U18 Women’s (4 Regions) and U18 Men’s (6 Regions) divisions.
The size and scope of the PRCs is expected to remain stable for the 2012 event with the same divisions providing competition between the different regions and allowing provincial coaching staff with the opportunity to observe, evaluate and select athletes for the provincial teams that will travel to Quebec in August for the National Age Grade Championships. The defending PRCs champions from 2011 are:
U16 Men: Vancouver Island South – Tide
U18 Women: Fraser Valley
U18 Men: Fraser Valley
