Although South Island player may attend, this is a clinic put on by the North Island Tsunami Academy to improve on the skill levels in the North, especially for those schools and regions where rugby isn't currently being played. Although there is a focus on seeing what players in the region are looking to make regional teams, there is always a focus on increasing skills and participation in this region.
The girls camp has been cancelled and postponed until the end of the school rugby season with future camps being planned for the Vnacouver Island Tide and Tsunami programs.
These regional representative teams include the:
1. Provincial Regional Tsunami sides (PRCs - 15s) for U16 and U18 Men, and U18 Females.
2. BC Summer Games V.I. Tide (7s rugby) for U14 Boys
All players wishing to make these teams should attend, as well as any athlete wishing to increase their skills and knowledge of the game of rugby.
The guest coaches for this camp include Ander Monro, Gordon McILwham and Jesse Olynyk. As well as regional coaches Doug Tate (U14 Boys BC Summer Games), Craig White (U17 Girls BC Summer Games), and the Tsunami coaches.
Others guest coaches are TBA.
