Michael "Micky/Mick" Strubin passed away in his sleep during the early morning of Feb 21, 2012. Mick was 68 years old.
Mick played rugby on the wing for the West Vancouver Barbarians Rugby Club and later the Capilano RFC. Mick was one of the original members of the Capilano RFC.
Mick’s proudest moment at the rugby club was watching his son Christoph Strubin and the Premier team win its 1st Rounsefell Cup in 2004. He was the proud father of 2 daughters and 1 son. Mick will be remembered and sorely missed by his family and friends. Details of his Celebration of Life will be sent when they are finalized.
