Scott Johnson, the Director of Coaching for the Ospreys in Wales, will be staying at Shawnigan from July 17th until the 22nd. He is recognized as one of the best attack coaches in the world, and has worked with the Australian, Welsh and USA national teams.

Coaches have an opportunity to (literally) live and work with him during this week, as he demonstrates his talent with the 40 residential youth participants and the coaches. Kieran Crowley, John Tait, Geraint John and Jim Delaney will also be featured, as well as a number of Canadian players. Evening socials will end two a day field sessions and some time relaxing on the water.

Cost is (a reduced) $599.00 for five nights room and board. Here are a few testimonials from last year:

"The SLS summer rugby academy is the best rugby coaching clinic I am aware of in Canada. The program provides formal and informal opportunities to interact with top professional and international-level coaches. Participants get to hear the coaching philosophies, technical approaches and see the drills that these top coaches run for their athletes. I cannot think of too many rugby coaches who would not benefit in some way from attending this program.

- Don Swainson, Rugby Ontario Junior Blues U14 Coach
