This year BC Rugby will be hosting an under-14 Boys (born in 1997, '98) Provincial Regional Championship in conjunction with the Victoria International Rugby Sevens. The tournament is scheduled for July 15-16 at the University of Victoria.
The Greater Victoria Region will be entering a rep team for the competition and coaches Spencer Robinson and Kevin Hall have scheduled a series of trials and training sessions to prepare for the competition.
For players wishing to be considered for this event, attendance is required at the following practice and selection dates :
May 30 – Evening Practice ( University of Victoria)
June 6 – Evening Practice ( University of Victoria )
June 13 - Evening Practice ( University of Victoria )
June 19th - 10am to 1pm Open 7s Assessment/Training at UVic June 20 - Evening Practice ( University of Victoria )
June 27 - Evening Practice ( University of Victoria )
July 10 - Morning Practice ( Field and Time TBA )
July 11 - Evening Practice ( University of Victoria )
July 15th/16th - U.14 Regional 7s Championship, UVic UVIC Practice Field – Turf Field: West of the Field Hockey Pitch.
