Nanaimo, BC: The Nanaimo Hornets are seeking the services of a head coach for their Senior Men's program for the 2011/2012 season.
For the last four seasons the Hornets have reached the finals of the Island competition with their Senior Mens team (1st Division). Nanaimo have a very active executive who are continually looking at ways of increasing player numbers as well as promoting the game at all levels.
The Hornets are seeking a coach for their Senior First Division team but this person would also have the responsibility of taking the Seconds side during the week for practice sessions. The club will have coaches for the Seconds team during the weekend.
Preference will be given to applicants who:
...... have a minimum of Level 2 coaching certificate.
...... have some experience at coaching at club level.
...... have a strong and clear communication style

Nanaimo HornetsNanaimo has two senior men's teams (1st & 2nd Division), one senior women's team (2011 BC champs!) as well as men's teams in the Under-19 and Under-17 divisions. The Hornets also run a minis programme and have a Golden Oldies team.
