May 1st for the Under-13 Boys, Under-14 Boys and Under-16 Men’s divisions.
In the Under-16 division final, Richmond defeated the Capilano
All-Blacks by a score of 22-7. Richmond was
the only team to go undefeated during the regular season, posting a 5-0 record.
Richmond won their semifinal match over Ridge Meadows by a score of 49-0 before
defeating Capilano in Sunday’s championship game.
The Under-14 boys teams competed in a festival tournament and the following
results were reported:
Ridge Meadows 10-12 Chuckanut
Burnaby Lake/Rowers 20 – 3 Chuckanut
Capilano Barbarians 7 – 79 Richmond
Capilano All Blacks 61 -24 Meraloma
The
Under-13 division featured a series of festival games between teams from Capilano,
Chuckanut, Delta and the Vancouver Rowing Club. Chuckanut went undefeated on
Sunday, winning the final game 24-15 against a combined Rowers and Delta team.
