Big Kahuna Division OneSat. May 7 - Brit Lions at Abbotsford (CFV Exhibition) 11:30amTop-seeded Abbotsford clinched the Division One regular season title with a 7-1 record. The defending champs led the league defensively, allowing just 10 points per game. Abbotsford are set to face off against the fourth-seeded Brit Lions on Saturday, a team they went 1-1 against this season. During their 2011 campaign, the Brit Lions were the only team to beat Abbotsford, handing them a 19-17 loss on April 2nd. Abbotsford returned the favour a week later on April 9th, thumping the Brit Lions 44-10. The Brit Lions wrapped up the season with a 4-5 record to tie up the fourth and final playoff berth.
Sat. May 7 - Kamloops at SFU (SFU) 11:30amSecond-seeded SFU and third-seeded Kamloops wrapped up the regular season with identical 6-3 records and were 1-1 against each other this season. SFU clinched the second seed on point differential between the two teams, posting 77 points versus Kamloops' 45. Kamloops led the league offensively this season, averaging 32.56 ppg. Their powerful offence could struggle against SFU's second-ranked defence on Saturday which has allowed just 12 ppg against during the regular season.
Langara Fishing Adventures Division TwoSat. May 7 - Burnaby Lake at Ridge Meadows (Maple Ridge) 10:00amSecond-seeded Ridge Meadows is at home to third-seeded Burnaby Lake in this weekend's semifinal matchup. Ridge Meadows wrapped up the regular season with a 5-3 record while Burnaby finished with a 2-3-2 record. Ridge Meadows won both encounters between these sides posting a 19-5 victory on February 19th, and a 29-10 victory on April 2nd.
Sat. May 7 - Velox at Nanaimo (May Bennett) This game has been defaulted by Velox. Nanaimo will advance to the championship game on May 14th.
