| Lower mainland junior finals scheduled for May 1 | | |

Vancouver, BC: The 2011 Lower Mainland junior leagues will wrap up this weekend with a final scheduled for the U16 Men and Age Grade Festivals scheduled for the U14 and U13 Boys divisions.
Under-16 Men Richmond RFC is on course for a perfect season after going 4-0 during the round robin and posting a convincing 49-0 semifinal win over Ridge Meadows on April 17. Their opponent in the championship game will be the Capilano All Blacks, a team that went 2-2 during the regular season. The All Blacks defeated Meraloma 22-0 in the quarter-final and then edged Chuckanut 29-22 in the semifinals to qualify for the championship game.

Under-14 Boys Sunday's U14 Boys Festival will take place on two fields at Burnaby Lake Rugby Club. The games are scheduled to kick off at 10:30am.
Sunday, May 1 Field 2 10:30am - Burnaby/Rowers v Ridge Meadows (30 min) 11:00am - Ridge Meadows v Chuckanut (30min) 11:30am - Burnaby/Rowers v Chuckanut (30min) Field 1 10:30am - Capilano Barbarians v Richmond 11:40am - Capilano All Blacks v Meraloma
Under-13 Boys The U13 Boys Festival will take place in Delta at John Oliver Park on Sunday. The Festival will feature four teams; Brit Lions, Capilano, Vancouver Rowing Club and Chuckanut. The opening games kick off at 10:00am and will be followed up with a placement match.
