Delta, BC: British Columbia’s
next generation of rugby stars will scrum down at John Oliver Park this Sunday
in the season finale Boston Pizza Mini Jamboree.
The event runs from 10:00am to 11:30am featuring mini rugby players from the
Vancouver Rowing Club, UBCOB Ravens, Capilano RFC, Burnaby Lake Rugby Club,
Meraloma Athletic Club, Brit-Lions RFC and the Surrey Beavers.
“The mini jamborees provide an opportunity for very young players to learn to
play the game through adapted versions of rugby,” said Dave Brown, BC Rugby’s
Provincial Coach and Development Manager. “These events provide opportunities
to acquire rugby and athletics skills in a fun and safe environment.”
