Canada lifted the Bowl at the 2014 Commonwealth Games Sevens after beating Trinidad & Tobago, Uganda and the Cook Islands at Ibrox Stadium on Sunday. After easing past Trinidad & Tobago in their earlier quarter-final before defeating Uganda 32-0, the Canadians were then ruthless against their final opponents. The XXth Commonwealth Games in Glasgow was an incredible event for the sport of rugby, as the four-day crowd of over 171,000 fans set a new Rugby Sevens record.
VANCOUVER, BC - The BC Elite Youth Sevens 2013-2014 season wrapped up on July 12th with the program lifting its second major title. The BCEY7’s Gold team captured the Victoria International Youth Sevens, following up their undefeated performance in March that saw them lift the Standard Chartered Bank International Youth Sevens title.
VANCOUVER, BC - British Columbia’s senior women’s provincial team will depart for Ottawa on Sunday in search of their first National Women’s League (NWL) Finals title since 2010. Led by new head coach Dean Murten and assistant Aaron Frisby, the program will play four matches in six days at Twin Elms Park.

The Abbotsford Kukri Sevens Tournament is quickly approaching on Saturday, July 26. There are only a few spots left in the tourney, which is the last official stop on the BC Rugby Sevens Circuit this summer. There are three divisions, including Women’s, Elite Men’s, and Social Men’s divisions.
The position is responsible for the planning, preparation and organization of coaching games and practices for the Kamloops Rugby Club Men’s Third Division team. The Head Coach will also aid in the promotion and the development of the Kamloops Rugby Club as a whole.
