Abbotsford, BC: The BC Rugby Referee's Society will be running a Level One Introduction to Officiating Course in Abbotsford on Friday, February 17th, as part of the district-wide Pro-D Day. REGISTRATION FORM (pdf)
The course will be facilitated by David Pue and will run from 8:00am-3:30pm at William A. Fraser Middle School (34695 Blatchford Way, Abbotsford). The course will take place in Abbotsford but is open to other school districts.
Participants are required to pay the $84.00 course fee ($75.00 + HST). The registration fee includes the course book, a Law book, Level One manual 'Reference in Practice' booklet, provided lunch and the Rugby Canada registration fee.
Those looking to participate in the course are required to take the IRB Law test (http://www.irblaws.com
) and the IRB Rugby Read Course (http://www.irbrugbyready.com
). When they complete the courses, the registrants will recieve by email, a certificate of completion. These must be submitted to the Level One Course Conductor (email@example.com) prior to receiving credit for the Level One Officiating course. The certificates can be printed out and brought on the day of the course.
Participants should be prepared to be active and outdoors for much of the clinic and bring their own whistles. Level One Officiating Course
