BC Rugby Match Report & Game Sheet Process

Match results and completed Game Sheets are to be submitted as follows:

a)  It is the responsibility of BOTH TEAMS to report results to the BC Rugby office. For Saturday games, results are required to be sent to scores@bcrugby.com by 5:30pm on the day of the match. For Sunday games, results are due by NOON on the Monday following all weekend fixtures. 

b) If a scheduled game is cancelled or defaulted BOTH teams must notify the BC Rugby office, the appropriate sub-union and referee society.

 c) It is the responsibility of BOTH TEAMS to complete and return their game sheet to the BC Rugby office by NOON on the Monday following all weekend fixtures.

d) Game Sheets for ALL matches must be submitted as follows:

i. Fax: (604) 737-3916 - OR -
ii. Email: scores@bcrugby.com (scanned copy of game sheet) - OR -
iii. Delivery: to the BC Rugby Office @ #203-210 West Broadway, Vancouver.

Game Sheets are considered “completed” when:

a) All players for your side are listed on the game sheet. Substitute players who do not take the field are to be listed on the game sheet. Players should be clearly identified by full name. Player ID #s are appreciated as a secondary form of reconciliation. Please indicate if no substitutes were used during the 80 minutes of play.

b) All Import Players are identified on the game sheet with a circled capital “I”. This must be done on each and every game sheet for the duration of the season.

c) All Carded players be properly identified on the game sheet with a circled "C".as per section 13 of the Rules of Competition. This must be done on each and every game sheet for the duration of the season.

d) All management (coaches, managers, therapists, etc.) are to be listed on the game sheet.

e) The game sheet is signed by your team official (coach or manager) submitting the game sheet.

f) The final score for both the visitors and home sides are recorded.

g) The game sheets are signed by the referee verifying the final score.

h) Complete scoring details should be recorded to ensure all bonus points are awarded correctly and to track league scoring statistics.

GAME SHEET DOWNLOAD

As per the BC Rugby Rules of Competition, failure to submit properly completed game sheets may result in sanctions, standing points deduction as determined by the Competition Committee with a minimum fine of $250.
